Peter O'Donnell -- Modesty Blaise

Souvenir Press are reissuing the whole series in trade paperback, with the cover art originally used on their original run UK hardbacks. They are very nice quality books, going by the ones I already have.

W J Burley -- Wycliffe series

Burley's Wycliffe series was variable in quality but usually at least adequate and often very good indeed. Police procedural series with relatively short novels by today's standards, so they tend to be relatively lightweight but still complex enough to satisfy. Great books for when you're too tired to concentrate on a modern doorstop mystery.
